Why Do You want to Disable the Coupons at Checkout in WooCommerce?
By disabling the coupons at the checkout page in WooComemrce, you can reduce the distractions that can cause the users to leave the purchase or delay it until they find a coupon to use and get discounts.
Let’s understand this with a scenario.
Let’s say a user comes to my store, adds a product to his cart, and when he is about to checkout and complete the purchase. He sees the text saying, “Have a coupon? Click here to enter your code.”
If he doesn’t have any coupons, then he might leave the checkout to find a coupon code that he can use to get some discounts.
So the coupons section at checkout can diverse the customers, and as you might be aware, the saying, “First impression is the last impression.” There are very few chances they are coming back to your site.
To avoid such customer loss, you should disable the coupons at checkout.
So without further ado, let’s jump into the tutorial.
