To restrict WooCommerce shipping based on postal code, follow these 6 easy steps!

1. Install and Activate the Conditional Shipping and Payment Addon

As a first step, you need to install and activate the Conditional Shipping & Payments plugin. 

Note: If you’ve already installed the plugin, you can skip to the next step. 

The plugin is available with the Woosuite Core plugin. You can install and activate the plugin using the license key.

2.  Navigate to Shipping and Payments

We assume that you’ve installed and activated the plugin on your website. 

Upon activating the plugin, you can see the Woosuite option on the sidebar of your dashboard. 

  • Navigate to Woosuite > Shipping & Payments

3. Select the Shipping Methods Tab

Upon clicking on the Shipping & Payment options, you’ll land on a page with three tabs: Restrictions, Payment Gateways, Shipping Methods, and Shipping Countries. 

  • Select the Shipping Methods tab. 

4. Add a Shipping Restriction by Postal Code

On the Shipping Countries tab:

  • Click on the Add Restriction button.

You can view the option to exclude methods, add a description, and exclude Rate IDs on the page. 

  • Step 4.1: Add a Short Description

Firstly, we need to provide a short description defining the rules we create in the ‘short description’ field. 

You can add an explanation to the description if necessary. 

  • Step 4.2: Exclude Shipping Methods

Upon clicking on the ‘Exclude Methods‘ field, you’ll have to select the shipping methods you want to restrict by postal code. 

  • Step 4.3: Exclude Rate IDs

  • Step 4.4: Add a Condition

5. Save Changes

6. Viewing Changes
