It’ll be very helpful for your customers to speed up the buying process as they’ll get to know which product is out of stock and when it’ll be back in stock from the shop page.

3. Display Lead Times on Shop Page

As we want to display the lead time on the shop page which will help the customers to know about the stock status of the products.

So to display the lead time or the stock status on the shop page check the shop/category pages checkbox. This will display the stock information or the lead time on shop and category pages.

4. Select the Products for Which You Want to Display the Lead Times

Here you need to select the products for which you want to display the stock status or the lead times on the shop page. You can select whether to display it for products based on their status:

  • In-stock Products: This is useful for displaying lead times for custom or handmade products.
  • Out of stock Products: This only displays the designated lead time if the item is out of stock.
  • Products on Backorder: This only displays the lead time you’ve specified when the item is on backorder.

For this tutorial, I am displaying the lead times for out of stock products only so I have checked the out of stock products checkbox.

This will let the users know about the stock status only for out of stock products on the shop page, which means if a product is in stock, the customers won’t see any information.

5. Change Lead TIme Prefix

To change the prefix of lead time, simply enter the prefix in the Lead Time Prefix field.

I have changed it to Available in, you can set it as you want.

6. Set Global Lead Time

Now to set the global lead time, enter the number in the Global Lead Time field and select the Lead Time Unit. You can select the unit as:

  • Day
  • Week
  • Month

I have selected the day as a unit and set the lead time as 6 days. You can set it according to your store..

7. Save Changes

Now, click on the Save Changes button at the top right corner to save the changes.

8. Final Results

Now, if you visit the shop or the category pages on your store, you’ll see that the products that are out of stock are displaying the stock status which will tell the customers when those products will be back in stock.
