5 Ways to add WooCommerce wholesale prices
In this section, we will take a close look at the ways you can add wholesale prices. It is important to know the methods as it will help you decide to choose which one you should use.
In total, you can choose 5 ways to add WooCommerce wholesale prices.
Tiered pricing lets you further customize the pricing of each product. Here, you can provide better discounts if the buyer decides to buy more quantities of the said product. You are free to set up the range and the discount for each tier. In many systems, auto-pricing can also be set based on tiers.
2. Global Wholesale Discount
Another strategy that many WooCommerce platforms can use is the Global Wholesale discount. By using the method, you apply a global discount. It is useful for applying the discount for each wholesale role. All you need to do here is to create the role and then add the related % discount to it. So, if a role in the B2B business tries to do a wholesale purchase, he/she will receive a discount after logging in.
In this method, you set up prices on your eCommerce site based on the product types. This means that the discounts are provided on the type of product category the user can choose. So, once the category is chosen and the prices are set, the products within the category are now discounted under the wholesale purchase.
4. Product-specific Wholesale pricing
You can also go for product-specific wholesale pricing. The pricing method gives you ultimate control over the products on your WooCommerce site as you can use it to customize each product accordingly. Here also you do not add the discount automatically as you need to edit each product and set the discount. However, the method is time-consuming and might not be suitable for big eCommerce sites.
Lastly, you can also set wholesale pricing based on user roles. The roles can be defined by you and then you can set the pricing based on it. So, if a user logs in, he can see wholesale pricing based on the user role he has been assigned.
Things to consider before setting up WooCommerce wholesale prices
Before we go and discuss the steps to create wholesale pricing on the WooCommerce store, let’s first go through the things to consider. These will help you better set up your store and be overall more ready for the wholesale pricing. Let’s list them below.

Wholesale registration forms are different compared to general users. And, that’s why you should create registration forms for your wholesale buyers. In fact, you should create multiple wholesale registrations for the different roles to cater to their needs.
Creating and wholesale payment and shipping specific solution
You also need to create a wholesale payment gateway that can help wholesale buyers to do payments seamlessly. On top of that, you may also want to provide shipping-specific solutions which can enable large orders to get processed and delivered safely to the buyer.
Finally, it is also important to provide taxes related options to the wholesale customers so that they can keep track of everything.
